Michael Sean Corbett is a Boston-born actor whose theatre credits include Stones in His Pockets, All in the Timing, Clue, G.R. Point, Habeus Corpus, The Cripple of Inishmaan, Cactus Flower, Prelude to a Kiss, The Tempest, and 12th Night. Michael is a member of the Los Angeles-based comedy troupe, The Audacity, whose members are featured in the web-series sitcom “Dwelling.” Michael is featured in Episodes 2 & 3, which can be viewed on Strike TV. He received a B.A. in Theatre Arts from the University of Massachusetts at Boston.

The best advice about moving here I ever got was this ( from a famous actor who “made it”).

“When you first get to LA  give yourself a year before you decide if you want to stay or leave.  If you decide to leave, give yourself another year before you do so.  You got to be here for 2 years before you even begin to make the connections you need to succeed in this town.”

So there you have it…You need to think of your journey to LA lasting at least two years, and during that time, if you are like most of us you will want to leave.

Know this, when you feel lonely and cut-off you are not alone…we all have felt the same way, it gets better.

See that Mirror behind you, go take a long hard look in it, want to be a star, start doing the work.
